Dear Partners!
I’d like to invite you to 2012 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) taking place this year July 8-12 in Toronto, Canada! Each year, WPC brings together Microsoft partners from all over the world with Microsoft executives and team members in a forum for mutual learning, networking, and celebration. It’s a place for you to get the information you need to plan future business opportunities, learn about Microsoft’s vision for new products and technologies, and understand the value of your membership in the Microsoft Partner Network. You can add the Conference dates to your Outlook calendar by opening the attached invitation.
This year, we’ll be in beautiful Toronto. Jemima Herman, who is the U.S. planning lead for WPC 2012, is sharing event and planning updates on the U.S. Partner Team blog. Her post about the planning team’s site visit to Toronto in November was inspiring – everyone loved the city and its venues. You can read Jemima’s WPC 2012 blog series at http://aka.ms/uswpc12blog.
As WPC is taking place in Canada this year, there are important international travel details U.S. attendees should be aware of. For example, U.S. citizens are required to present a valid U.S. passport to enter or re-enter the United States via air. Visit the U.S. Department of State website for more details on traveling to Canada.
What’s happening in February?
· The annual U.S. WPC survey is now available, and is your opportunity to give feedback that helps our planning. Complete the survey for a chance to win an Xbox with Kinect bundle (sweepstakes ends 2/29/2012; Official Rules). The WPC Awards submission tool will open in February, so start planning to submit your company’s solution for an award. Details will be published on www.digitalwpc.com.
I highly encourage you to consider attending the Worldwide Partner Conference this year. Please let me know if you have any questions, and I’m happy to continue this conversation and discuss why I think WPC will be so valuable to your business.
