This month’s BASBITS (Bay Area Small Business Information Technology Specialists) Users Group Meeting will be on Wednesday, July 18th at 6pm.

 

Our Main Program will feature Patrick Torpey, President, Protection Plus Security Services, Inc. in a discussion of IP-based security solutions.  Specifically, Patrick will walk us through the S2 Security Netbox access control system.  This cutting edge network appliance is in the forefront of the convergence of the electronic security systems with the LAN / WAN.  This browser based system allows for control of card entry as well as integrates with identity management (photo ID), video surveillance, temperature monitoring, and intrusion alarm systems.

 

The Short Program will be presented by Ed Correia and Tim Carney just back from the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Denver with details and highlights ranging from hot topics like Windows Server 2008, ‘Centro’, Response Point and much more!

 

BASBITS is the Bay Area users group for IT Professionals who add value to small business clients with Microsoft’s Small Business Server.

 

Our meeting will be in the  California Conference Room at 1798-B Bay Road, East Palo Alto, CA 94303. Pizza and drinks will be there by 5:45pm.  Cost is just $10 at the door.
