The restaurant is beyond beautiful with all of the decor and walls in a light off-white, round, very large room with skylights – the center piece a huge "Chihuly" style chandelier. Before dinner we wandered around the hotel, stopping at the bar for champagne and oysters.

Variation of Tomato — Foie Gras, Smoked Quail and Cherry with Peach and Walnuts
Tartar of Marinated Salmon Trout, Cauliflower Panna Cotta and Asparagus
Mozambique Prawn in Crunchy Potato Layer, Tomato and Vanilla

Kingklip with Madrasi Crust and Crayfish Wonton — Veal Filet and Sweetbread with Porcini Mushrooms and Herb Puree
Tart of Chocolate, Raspberries and Rose Pelargonium
We all agreed, this was one of the best meals any of us had eaten. The Candy of Tuna was philo dough shaped like a candy wrapper with tuna still rare but totally hot with ginger and orange – spectacular looking and I still can`figure out how the tuna was hot without being over-cooked.
Oh, yes – we had a different wine with each course, background music that was just for our generation – we could sing along and knew all the words. And, of course, we had to get up and dance. no one else danced until close to the bell striking midnight, then everyone was up and greeting everyone else who had spent such a wonderful time dining on exquisite food.
