Trying to catch up on my notes, it will take a few days.
This morning we left Buffelfontein Private Reserve to drive back to Alex’s place in Hout Bay. Arrived around 11 am, changed clothes, packed lite lunch and headed to Table Mountain which is over 3000 meters high (1000 ft). We decided to hike up and take the cable car down. Tough, rugged, steep, high steps (the path wasn’t made for people like me with short legs). Thankfully, we had brought our hiking sticks which I really relied on. WOW – it was worth the hard work to get to the top and seeing the view in all directions of Atlantic, Camps Bay, Hout Bay, Cape Town. Most rewarding was taking the cable car down – check this out, it spun around, allowing you to see all around you as it sped down the hill.
